Quick answers to common wheel fitment questions
How do I know what wheel size fits my car?
Start with your vehicle's OEM wheel specifications, which you can find in our Vehicle Fitment Guides. Key factors include bolt pattern, center bore, offset, and wheel diameter. Our Fitment Calculator helps you visualize how different sizes affect your setup.
What's the difference between offset and backspacing?
Offset measures the distance from the wheel's mounting surface to its centerline (positive pushes the wheel inward, negative pushes it outward). Backspacing measures from the mounting surface to the inner edge of the wheel. Both affect how your wheel sits in the fender well.
Are aftermarket wheels safe?
Quality aftermarket wheels from reputable brands are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. Look for wheels with JWL (Japan), TUV (Germany), or VIA certifications. Avoid cheap replicas that skip proper testing and quality control.
Should I buy forged or cast wheels?
It depends on your priorities. Forged wheels are lighter, stronger, and more expensive—ideal for track use or weight-conscious builds. Cast wheels offer good value for daily driving. Flow-formed wheels provide a middle ground with improved strength at moderate prices.
